The Specialty Training and Advanced Research (STAR) Program allows physicians who have already completed the M.D. to earn a Ph.D. in Neuroscience at the same time as they complete their clinical residency or fellowship under a plan that efficiently interleaves research and clinical education. 
The NeuroSTAR Program is administered in conjunction with appropriate clinical departments in the UCLA School of Medicine (Medicine, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Ophthalmology, or Psychiatry). For further information, please contact the
